Year 5/6 Boys Football League Match home v Plumberow - 5th May

On Friday 5th May, the Year 5/6 boys played their final game in the league against a very strong Plumberow side.

Hockley were put under a fair amount of pressure in the first half, but the defence played extremely well and could cope with everything that came their way. Although Plumberow had a few chances the game went into half time at 0-0. In the second half, Hockley came back into the game, and created a few chances themselves,but Plumberow continued to press, and eventually went ahead. Despite Hockley continuing to do well in defence, two further goals were conceded, and the match finished 0-3.

Well done to all the boys for the effort they put into the match. They all played extremely well and should be proud of themselves. They can show off their silver medals which is their reward for a good season.
